Minimalist pet health and care management system built in Core PHP
Pet Management System (PMS) is a web-based application developed using Core PHP, aimed at simplifying the management of pets, their health records, appointments, and owner information. The system is designed to be used by pet clinics, pet shops, or pet care centers to streamline their day-to-day operations. The focus of this project was on building a lightweight, efficient solution with an intuitive interface and essential features to improve pet care management workflows.
Dashboard Overview:
Provides an at-a-glance view of total pets, appointments, and recent activity to help staff stay organized.
Pet Registration & Profile:
Allows users to add and manage pet details including breed, age, owner information, and medical history.
Appointment Scheduling:
Enables easy booking and tracking of veterinary appointments, grooming sessions, and vaccinations.
Medical Record Management:
Maintains detailed medical history for each pet including treatment notes, prescriptions, and vaccination logs.
Owner Directory:
Stores owner contact information and links it to their pets, improving communication and tracking.
Admin Panel:
Role-based access for admins and staff, with secure login and management capabilities.
Reports & Search:
Includes search and filter functions to quickly retrieve pet or owner records, and generate simple reports.
Front-End:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript for a responsive and clean user interface.
Back-End:
Core PHP for server-side logic and request handling.
Database:
MySQL for structured storage of pet, owner, and appointment data.
Authentication:
Simple session-based login system for secure access.
Hosting:
Developed and tested on XAMPP (Apache + MySQL), deployable on shared hosting or LAMP stack servers.
User-Friendly Interface:
Designed for non-technical users with clear forms, navigation menus, and error handling.

Minimal dependencies ensure fast load times and low server resource usage.
Mobile-Compatible:
